Inner Wild Retreat

Step away from the demands of daily practice and immerse yourself in a day designed to replenish your nervous system, awaken your creativity, and expand your professional toolkit. The Expressive Arts Mystery School's one-day INNER WILD retreat at Lake Lagunitas in Marin County, California invites psychotherapists, social workers, coaches, healers, educators, holistic practitioners and others who feel inspired to reconnect with the restorative power of nature and expressive arts.
Through guided nature immersion, gentle movement, multi-modal expressive arts experiences, reflective writing, and shared ritual, participants will cultivate greater presence, resilience, and creative vitality. Along the way, you'll discover innovative arts-based and nature-centered practices that can be adapted for use with clients, groups, and communities. You will leave feeling nourished, inspired, and equipped with fresh approaches for fostering healing, insight, creativity, and transformation in your professional work.

So many of us carry deep desires—to be seen, heard, received, listened to, and respected. In this Mystery School, we do not look outward to fulfill these longings. Instead, we learn how to meet them from within.
Here, the desire to be seen becomes the practice of seeing yourself.
The desire to be heard becomes the art of hearing yourself.
The desire to receive becomes the capacity for receiving yourself.
And the desire to be listened to and respected becomes the lived experience of listening to and respecting yourself—in your body, your creativity, and your inner knowing.
